FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: cooling device of active element of solid-state laser has active element arranged in shell made of optically transparent heat-conducting material and metal lamellae which contact with shell outer side. Between active element and shell there is optically transparent layer, thermal conductivity of which is less than thermal conductivity of shell and active element, and at contact points of the shell and lamellae there is thermal grease.
EFFECT: increase of quality of conductive cooling of active element with high thermal conductivity at lateral pumping.
