Device comprises a bank of synthesis filters for synthesis of an intermediate audio signal from an input audio signal, an input audio signal of a set of first subband signals generated in a bank of analysis filters, wherein number of channels in said bank of synthesis filters is less than number of channels in bank of analysis filters. Device also includes additional bank of analysis filters to generate multiple second subband signals from intermediate audio signal, wherein said additional bank of analysis has number of channels different from number of channels in bank of synthesis filters, so that sampling frequency of subband signal from a plurality of second subband signals differs from sampling frequency of first subrange signal from a plurality of first subband signals.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve quality of processed audio signal.
