FIELD: technology of making; personal and household items.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of spring units, to spring units and aims at increasing of comfort of user location on mattress containing spring units. Unit of independent springs for mattresses and seats consists of array of springs in fabric jackets. Array of springs in fabric jackets includes completely active springs respectively enclosed in separate fabric cases. Each completely active spring has central spiral part, containing at least one spring coil and setting axis; not-tied first end wind, setting first end of completely active spring; and not-tied second end wind setting opposite second end of fully active spring.
EFFECT: each completely active spring has shape in state of rest, at which first end wind and second end wind are characterised by certain, id est non-zero, angle of inclination in lengthwise plane to allow first end wind and second end wind to increase elastic force of completely active spring.
