FIELD: textile and paper.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing a nonwoven material by hydroentangling a fibre mixture containing spunlaid filaments, natural fibres and synthetic staple fibres, wherein a first fibrous web (12) of natural fibres and at least 10 wt% manmade staple fibres by fibre weight is wetlaid and hydroentangled in a first hydroentangling station (13), spunlaid filaments (16) are laid on top of hydroentangled first fibrous web (12) and a second fibrous web (19) comprising natural fibres is wetlaid on top of said spunlaid filaments (16). Second fibrous web (19) is hydroentangled together with spunlaid filaments (16) in a second hydroentangling station (20); combined webs are reversed and first fibrous web (12) of natural fibres and manmade staple fibre is hydroentagled together with spunlaid filaments (16) in third hydroentangling station (25).
EFFECT: disclosed is a method for production of nonwoven material.
