SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to off-road vehicles. Dual rate shock absorbing apparatus for a suspension system comprises a housing, a spring support, a first elastomeric spring assembly, a second elastomeric spring assembly, an axially elongated guiding unit for control of axial compression of first and second spring units and a pusher. Housing comprises an axially elongated outer housing member having a closed end and an open end. Spring support is located in inner chamber formed by inner and outer housing members. Pusher is made on open end of inner housing member with possibility of moving together with inner housing member and coming into contact with spring support.
EFFECT: possibility of vehicle operation in one of two states - unloaded or loaded, and control and measurement of load acting on suspension system.
