FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a colored fibro-cement article for imparting an outer surface to walls, a building or a structure, said colored fibrous cement article is colored and contains at least on part of its outer surface one or more hardened layers of coating composition, wherein said coating composition at least contains binder and at least one pigment, and wherein said coating composition is characterized by volume concentration of pigment (PVC) in range from 1 % to 20 %. Also disclosed is a method of producing a colored fibro-cement article described above, using a colored fibro-cement article.
EFFECT: technical result is provision of new and improved colored fibro-cement articles, as well as a method for production thereof, wherein said articles do not provide said undesirable visible effects in form of fading on one side and, on the other hand, defects or damages caused by transportation, handling and/or prolonged use.
