SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical diagnostics, and represents a method of determining degree of disturbed renal function in renal insufficiency, consisting of taking 1 tablet of preparation "Zolotoy konek", washing it down with 100 ml of water in the morning after breakfast, and after three hours, renal dysfunction is determined by the degree of change of urine colour: normally urine colour is bright-saturated green colour, in renal insufficiency-light green; repeated determination is made after six hours after taking the tablets: normal urine becomes pale-green colour, with renal insufficiency-green colour; final determination is made through nine hours after taking the tablets: normal urine color is straw yellow, in renal insufficiency the colour is light green.

EFFECT: use of the method allows simplifying the diagnostic technique for renal dysfunction.
