FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to input devices. Optical joystick includes a housing, a control handle, a light source, photoelectric converters located on the base and connected with the microprocessor via buses and data transmission means, light flux intensity variation device made up of a light-reflecting surface facing the photoelectric converters and having the possibility of changing the position relative to them by means of the control handle. Joystick is provided with an elastically deformable element, herewith the control handle is arranged on its outer surface, and the light-reflecting surface is on the inner one and faces the base, which is made in the form of a printed circuit board, the light source is also located on this board.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of reliability of the optical joystick.
