FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to deformation seams of bridges and roads. Deformation seam contains the metal corner edgings which are rigidly fixed on flying structures. In metal corner edgings are established a flat sliding wedge-like metal sheet with a possibility of movement across the bridge via antifriction wedge-shaped splined gaskets. Metal sheet covers the gap between plates of interfacing flying structures which ends are skewed respectively to the sides of the wedge-shaped metal sheet turned to them. Metal sheet extends beyond the gap and is rigidly connected by one end to a tension spring. Other end of the tenson spring is fixed on flight structure. Tension spring prevents faults and vertical displacement of metal sheet at its cross movement. At fall of temperature the gap between plates of flying structures converges and metal sheet "is squeezed out" from the gap, sliding on antifriction gaskets. At the same time reliable closing gap is provided, as the metal sheet is longer than a gap and protrudes beyond its limits. At temperature increase gap between plates of fluing structures extends, and metal sheet is returned to initial position.
EFFECT: design of the deformation steam prevents formation of crosswise gaps and thresholds at change of environment temperature.
