SUBSTANCE: invention relates to connector for telecommunication enclosures. Disclosed connector is characterised by that it includes a main body with an interior passageway extending from a first end to a second end of the main body; compression member configured to be attached to second end of main body for compression of internal sealing member between second end of main body and compression member, wherein internal sealing member comprises an elastomeric part and a rigid part; and an optical connection section, at least partially located in interior passageway and having an external body, external shape of which enables of connection with mating optical receiving element of standard format.
EFFECT: providing a large number of connections in telecommunication enclosure, faster installation.
