FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for polishing of optical fibre end at operation site. Device comprises body with main part to support polishing element and polishing plate containing with connector holder for receiving and holding of fibre-optic connector fixed at optical fibre end. Polishing gear is provided made with possibility to engage with ring gear located in main part. Polishing gear is installed into ring gear with possibility of rotational movement with provision of tracing on polishing element in specified position with optical fibre butt.
EFFECT: optical fibre polishing process is simplified as a result.
