FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reclamation of soils and can be used in recultivation of lands contaminated with heavy metals. Method involves introduction to the surface soil of ameliorant, mixing it with meliorated soil layer and growing of crops with observance of zonal farming techniques. Period of introducing ameliorants is August-September, and depth of ameliorant delivery is 10-12 cm followed with dump plowing at depth of 25-30 cm. Chalky flour, phosphorite, superphosphate, sodium sulphide, lowland peat in optimal doses are used as ameliorants.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce the mobility of heavy metals (lead and cadmium) in soil by 20-60 % and content thereof in plant cultivation products below maximum allowable concentration level, additionally increased soil fertility and crop yield.
