FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of extracting diaceton acrylamide from a technical mixture formed after dilution of the synthesis reaction mass as per Ritter reaction from acrylonitrile and diacetone alcohol, acetone or mesityl oxide in the medium of concentrated sulphuric acid. Method is implemented by dissolving the technical mixture in an organic solvent with subsequent addition of concentrated sulphuric acid. Then deposited vinyl oxazine sulphate is separated and diaceton acrylamide is extracted from it. Organic solvent used is acetone, methyl ethyl ketone or acetonitrile. Sulphuric acid is added in the amount of 1 mole per 1 mole of diaceton acrylamide and 1 mole per 1 mole of acrylamide contained in the technical mixture.
EFFECT: technical result is a high-tech method of producing diaceton acrylamide with high output.
