FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to ammunition for small arms, specifically to bullets for small arms. Bullet ammunition of small arms has a head portion with a blunt nose surface, and tapered leading portion to bottom end of tail. Greatest cross-sectional diameter of leading portion is D, length of head portion is 1.9-2.9D, and diameter of mating nose surface with side surface portion of head is 0.15-0.3D. Side surface of head portion is limited to surface of two paired truncated cones - front and rear corners of solution with equal respectively 22-30° and 8-16°. Smaller base of front of truncated cone is conjugated with front surface, and larger base of rear truncated cone is conjugated with surface of leading part. In another version, between drive and tail part there is a stepped transition. Maximum diameter of cross-section of tail part is equal to 0.94-0.97D.
EFFECT: higher ballistic characteristics of bullet.
