SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment intended for training rules using self-contained breathing apparatus. In base of a universal simulator there is a simulator of respiratory apparatus, in which increase in resistance to breath, volume ratio of carbon dioxide and temperature in breathing mixture is performed due to its heating, change of cross section and redistribution of gas flows, controlled by automatic system based on certain relationships. Simulator of respiratory apparatus is additionally equipped with subsystems for calculation and simulation of parameters of breathing mixture, assessment of status of trained subject and generated pneumotachogram, calculation of physical loads and visual presentation of space.

EFFECT: universal simulator enables to simulate without use of flow of chemical materials of breathing conditions of a person during operation with different physical activity in self-contained breathing apparatus with chemically connected and with compressed oxygen with information required for training on screen.
