FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method for making decorative finish panels consists in forming bundles of natural veneer sheets with bonding between the sheets. Then the assembled pack of sheets of natural veneer are compressed under high pressure. After polymerization of the binder the bundles are cut into sheets in the form of decorative finish panels. To give the assembled pack a waveform shape, high pressure compressing is carried with use of opposing transverse loadings, which on one side of the assembled pack are offset along the length of the assembled pack to the loading on the other side, or by means of using clamps interspaced along the length of the assembled pack and offset from each other in the transverse direction. The pack is then cut across or along its length to form waveform decorative and finishing panels. After the high-pressure compression the loading force is applied to the assembled pack to allow for polymerization of the binder.
EFFECT: reduced power loads during pressing of assembled packs of veneer sheets and strips.
