FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: three-way data exchange is set up between a seller, a customer and payment provider in a distributed system of secure commercial transactions. The customer sends the seller an online request for purchasing goods and/or services and receives an electronic bill from the seller. The customer sends a copy of the electronic bill to the payment provider for authorisation of payment and receives a payment marker from the payment provider as proof of paying capacity of the customer. The payment marker is encrypted or signed (digital signature). The payment marker is sent from the customer to the seller. The seller authenticates it by sending the payment provider a request. The seller sends confirmation of authenticity of the payment marker to the customer.
EFFECT: safer transaction owing to verification of identification information of a customer and verification of paying capacity of the customer.
