SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space telescopes with membrane mirror. Proposed auxiliary bending device comprises means wrapping on itself, such means are one or two straight circular cylinders, called reels, around which it may be wrapped, wherein said reels are a textile cylinders under gas pressure, reel fabric has non-interweaved threads in direction of length and in direction of circumference.
EFFECT: easier wrapping of auxiliary bending device and avoiding damage to membrane mirror during said wrapping and placing in orbit, as well as arrangement of auxiliary bending device during its winding on one or two reels; improvement of flatness of auxiliary bending device after its deployment in space, with retention of reels at a distance from each other.
