Method of replacing a urinal unit syphon trap consists of the following steps: closing an additional syphon trap of the urinal unit, removing the replaced syphon trap, inserting a new syphon trap, which replaces the removed syphon trap, opening the said additional syphon trap. Additional syphon trap is opened automatically by inserting an insert structural element. New syphon trap is made as an insert structural element or has an insert structural element. Urinal unit contains a replaceable and an additional syphon traps connected in series, there is an insert structural element. Additional syphon trap is arranged so, that it is automatically opened by inserting the insert structural element into the urinal unit and is automatically closed by removing the insert structural element from the urinal unit. Replaceable syphon trap works as the insert structural element or contains the insert structural element.

EFFECT: bad smell is prevented.
