FIELD: sanitary equipment, particularly outfall units for urinals.
SUBSTANCE: urinal has bowl or gutter and is provided with sewer outfall including hydraulic seal and extending from urinal, as well as elongated cylindrical insert. The insert has the first end, which is uppermost one in its working position, and the second end, which is lowermost in its working position. The insert may be installed and retained in sewer outfall and removed from the outfall. Radial insert dimensions provide close contact of the insert with sewer outfall. Longitudinal insert dimensions provide lower insert end location in hydraulic lock liquid when insert is in its working position. Elongated cylindrical insert and method to reduce odor evolved from urinal provided with above elongated cylindrical insert are also disclosed.
EFFECT: reduced odor evolving, simplified urate removal from sewer outfall unit and reduced urate removal time.
