FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: stiff package, for example, for rod-like articles such as tobacco products, comprising a first section of package and second section of package. First section of package and second section of package have, each, a main package body substantially in form of a rectangular parallelepiped, which has an open end in upper part and comprises inside stored article, and a cover, which is rotatably connected to rear edge of open end through a hinge and opens and closes open end. First section of package and second section of package are arranged so that rear wall of main package bodies face each other in a state wherein corresponding covers are closed. Rear upper edge sections, which form a boundary between top walls and rear walls of covers in first section of package and second section of package, are connected to each other to turn through hinge of top part.

EFFECT: invention provides opening package bodies with one hand.
