FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to steel corrosion inhibitors in aqueous media based on complexes of nitrilotrismethylene phosphonic acid with metals and is intended, in particular, to protect steel parts of process equipment in oil and gas, chemical, food and other industries. Inhibitor contains, per 1 mol. part of nitrilotrismethylene phosphonic acid, 2.2-4.0 mol. part of alkali and 0.8-1.0 mol. part of aluminium. Method of producing inhibitor involves mixing aqueous solution of nitrilotrismethylene phosphonic acid with an aluminate solution containing 2.2-5 mol. part of alkali per 1 mol. part of aluminium.
EFFECT: technical result is wider range of corrosion inhibitors, which do not contain heavy metals, on available raw material base.
