FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection of steel parts and steel equipment against corrosion by creation of surface protective layers and can be used, for example in metallurgical industry, in machine building, in oil and gas industry, in heat engineering and municipal engineering. Method of steel surface protection against corrosion involves pre-treatment of the surface of steel parts or steel equipment with aqueous solution of sodium nitrilotrismethylenephosphonate zincate and subsequent treatment with vinyltriethoxysilane solution in volatile organic solvent.
EFFECT: invention provides production of hydrophobic protective anticorrosion layer on steel surface based on reagents stable in storage and use.
