SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to gear pumps and hydraulic gear motors. Gear pump (100) comprises drive gear wheel (1), driven gear wheel (2), front flange (6), from which protrudes forward extending section (13) of shaft, connected to shaft (10) of wheel (1), rear cover (7) attached to housing (3), and intermediate flange (8) located between housing (3) and flange (6). Flange (8) comprises first chamber (80) and second chamber (81), connected by means of connecting channel (82) with channel for inlet or discharge of fluid, compensation ring (9) installed in chamber (80) and introduced in section of shaft (10) of wheel (1) so as to compensate for axial forces of wheel (1) and transmit motion to shaft (10) of wheel (1), and piston (88) installed in chamber (81) to stop opposite one end of shaft (20) of wheel (2) so as to compensate for axial forces applied to wheel (2).

EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at providing a hydraulic system for balancing axial forces in gear pumps and hydraulic engines with helical teeth of reversing or multi-stage type.
