FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for marking banknotes in ATM cassettes and/or payment kiosks during an attempt of breaking, displacement or unauthorized opening of the safe that holds cassettes, including dye ejecting elements that are series-interconnected into one system and perform ejecting of dye onto banknotes, and elements for actuating the dye ejecting system, wherein the dye ejecting system comprises a container with dye. Control unit supplies voltage to start the rotation of a rod. During its rotation the threaded rod presses onto a gas bottle, and needle, which placed inside and on the other side of the cylinder, which holds the gas bottle, and pierces the bottle membrane, then the gas is forced into the container with dye. Piston that is located in the container exudes pressure on the dye that, due to that pressure, breaks the sealing membrane; then via a tube connected to the dye container with a fitting the dye travels along the first transition element through the seconde transition element that is screwed into the projecting part of the detachable connection of the dye ejecting device, fixed in the cassette, into the perforated tube of the dye ejecting device and marks the banknotes with dye.

EFFECT: uniform marking of banknotes during an attempt of breaking ATMs and/or payment kiosks.
