SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power industry. Converting one type of current in the other (DC, AC), and thus binding AC network 1 and DC line 14, 15. Three-phase thyristor bridges 10, 11 operate in rectifier or inverter modes. Transformer of one unit has a shift relative to transformer of the other unit at an angle 30/n=15 electrical degrees. Therefore, 6n times harmonics of rectified voltage of one unit are in anti-phase to harmonics of the other unit and are mutually compensated or considerably weakened, because grounding 16 and extension line 17 have their own inductance. Simultaneously, current harmonics are reduced.

EFFECT: reduction of noise and energy losses, increased reliability.
