FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: cylindrical casing includes main body of casing, made of composite of reinforcing fibres, impregnated thermosetting resin. Slot is located annularly at one end of main body of casing. Peripheral wall of main body of casing is formed by successive layering of biaxial fabric layer, which includes biaxial fabric having a structure without bends, consisting of reinforcing fibres, having orientation angle ±45°, and roving layer, which includes roving, consisting bundle of reinforcing fibres extending along periphery. Wall of slot is formed by successive layering of biaxial fabric layer, extending to side of main body of casing. Triaxial fabric layer includes triaxial fabric having a structure without bends, consisting of bands of reinforcement fibres, having orientation angle ±45°, and bands of reinforcing fibres having orientation angle 0°. High torsion strength and rigidity of whole cylindrical casing in casing can be provided, when cylindrical casing is a fan casing made from composite material, consisting of reinforcing fibers and thermosetting resin as a raw material and having an annular slot.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of making cylindrical casing.
