FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine construction. Rotary piston internal combustion engine comprises a housing with a working ring, working chambers and combustion chambers, a locking mechanism and ignition plugs. In the working chambers in parallel on the motor shaft there are a compressor rotor and a turbine rotor. Both combustion chambers separated by a partition have rectangular or ellipse section and are arranged in the housing made in the form of a segment. Segment is inscribed in the dimensions of the widest part of the working ring and is rigidly fixed in it. Gas-distributing mechanism is composed of the upper and the lower spring-loaded gas-distributing plates with bypass windows. Upper gas-distributing plate is equipped with a central projection contacting with the partition within its limits. Gas-distributing plates are installed in slots of the combustion chambers housing with the possibility of back-and-forth movement in their slots, alternate aligning with inlet and outlet through elements and with the combustion chambers. Through elements are made in the form of channels in the combustion chambers housing. Locking mechanism makes it possible to install the gas-distributing plates in a specified position.
EFFECT: technical result is higher engine efficiency.
