SUBSTANCE: proposed are heat-transfer plate (8) and plate heat exchanger (2) containing such heat-transfer plate. Heat-transfer plate has central extending plane (c-c) and contains first end area (28), heat transfer area (32) and second end area (30) arranged in series along longitudinal central axis (y) of the heat-transfer plate. Longitudinal central axis divides the heat-transfer plate into first and second halves (20, 22). First end area contains hole (34) of the inlet opening located in the first half of the heat-transfer plate, distributing area (42) and transition area (44). Transition area adjoins the distribution area along first boundary line (46) and heat transfer area along second boundary line (48). Distribution area has a distribution pattern of distribution projections (64) and distribution cavities (66) relative to the central extending plane, the transition area has a transition pattern of transition projections (84) and transition cavities (86) relative to the central extending plane, and the heat transfer area has a heat-transfer pattern of heat transfer projections (112) and heat transfer cavities (114) relative to the central extending plane. Transition pattern differs from the distribution pattern and heat-transfer pattern. Imaginary straight line (92) extends between two end points (94, 96) of each transition projection at the angle of α relative to the longitudinal central axis.
EFFECT: said angle varies between the transition projections and increases in the direction from the first long side to the second long side.
