FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shaft support devices, specifically to support devices with moving elements supported by cushion of fluid medium, and is intended to take up load bearing shafts of submersible borehole pumps of different types driven by submersible electric motor. Invention can be used in oil production and other industries and agriculture in rotary machines used in conditions of constrained diametrical dimensions. Axial support of drive shaft comprises stator (1), support shaft (2) installed inside stator (1) with possibility of rotation and axial displacement relative to stator (1) and made hollow with possibility of being located in it and connection with drive shaft, system of channels for oil circulation, two support axial modules, spaced apart on length of support shaft (2), channel (13) and axial limiter 14 of movement of support shaft. First axial module consists of support element (3), piston (4) and chamber (5), first element (6) of support friction assembly and second element (7) of support friction assembly, and second axial module consists of support element (8), piston (9), chamber (10), first element (11) of support friction assembly, second element (12) of support friction assembly. Damper of each axial module is made in form of piston (4, 9) and chamber (5, 10), filled with support pseudo-liquid, which is a set of spheres, diameter of each of which exceeds value of process clearances, hydraulically connecting said chamber with system of channels for oil circulation. Chambers (5, 10) are hydraulically connected to each other by means of at least one channel (13), also filled with said support pseudo-liquid.

EFFECT: self-regulation of loads between support axial modules of support due to use in one volume along with main hydraulic medium (oil) additional hydraulic medium (pseudo-liquid) to carry out simultaneously various functions.
