SUBSTANCE: invention relates to generator for direct driven wind power plant, to wind power plant with such generator and method of erection of wind-driven power plant. Generator (1) for direct driven wind power plant (100) with stator (2) and rotor (4), where stator (2) and/or rotor (4) have windings (14, 30), made from aluminium, wherein generator (1) has external type rotor, wherein between stator and rotor there is air gap and air gap diameter (6) is more than 4.3 m.

EFFECT: higher mechanical stability and reduced weight of direct driven wind power plant generator.
