FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of copper powder from wastes of electrical copper wire. Wastes containing not less than 99.5 % copper, are subjected to electroerosion dispersion in distilled water at pulse repetition frequency of 28-100 Hz, voltage on electrodes of 150-220 V and capacitance of discharge capacitors of 25.5-55.5 mcF.
EFFECT: obtaining copper powder with negligible amount of impurities.
