SUBSTANCE: for this purpose, logic circuit can specify a new format of short frame to include an acknowledgement (ACK) policy field as a subfield of a control field of frame in a new format of short frame. Logic circuit can specify new format of short frame with truncated and overridden field type and new subfield of ACK policy in frame control field to minimise effect of introduction of new short frame format. Logic circuit may implement format of short frame with newly set frame control field compared to existing format of short frame. Logic circuit may determine subfield of ACK policy to include more than one ACK policy, such as normal ACK, block ACK and absence of ACK, to increase practicality of format of short frame, and to improve compatibility with other structures and other manufacturers.

EFFECT: high quality of communication when controlling bidirectional transmission, even with decreasing amount of control or service information.
