FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of high-efficiency fire extinguishing means and can be used in agriculture, in chemical industry devices and in heat power industry. Method involves double water jet spraying process. At the first stage an expansion device is used, in which water under pressure is released through holes located in circumferential direction. Then water is supplied into a hollow cylinder. Cylinder comprises a surface made of a perforated sheet in the form of truncated cone. Dispersion is performed through the step of forming a film of cylindrical shape, which is further dispersed in the perforated surface of the truncated cone, which provides formation of a compact jet of the sprayed water, which preserves its integrity up to the range of 30 m.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain sprayed water to extinguish fires with longer range of the jet.
