FIELD: means for fire extinguishing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire extinguishing and fire-and-explosion prevention equipment, namely to fire extinguishing and fire-prevention devices preventing medium-low-expansion air-mechanical foam or sprayed and dispersed water. To increase efficiency of fire extinguishing and fire and explosion prevention due to possibility of generation and supply to high distances of foam medium and low multiplicity with possibility of controlling foam expansion ratio in case of use as water-extinguishing substance of water with additives of foaming agent or sprayed and dispersed water in case of using as foam-free water without foaming agent generator air-mechanical foam for the deluge gun, which forms pressurized water flow with foaming agent additives, comprises a body in the form of at least one hollow cylinder and coaxially installed in housing mesh in the form of axisymmetric truncated cone with open bases on the side of inlet of generator of flow of water supplied from the deluge gun with additives of foaming agent and on the side of outlet from generator of air-mechanical foam. Housing with mesh installed in it is equipped with means of coaxial connection to deluge gun with formation of annular gap between walls of housing with mesh installed in it and a deluge gun with the possibility of air ejection through the said annular gap between the walls of the housing with the mesh and the deluge gun installed in it, and a mesh installed in the housing into the flow of water coming out of the deluge gun with additives of the foaming agent and obtaining an air-mechanical foam flow at the outlet of the generator. Deluge gun is equipped with a generator of air-mechanical foam of the above design.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of fire extinguishing and fire-and-explosion prevention.
