FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for detecting coherent pulsed nonuniform radio signals and measuring radial velocity of a moving object; can be used in radar air traffic control systems for detection and measurement of velocities of aircrafts. Detecting and measuring device of coherent pulsed radio signals contains a delay unit, complex conjugation unit, complex multiplication unit, averaging unit, phase computation unit, measurement limit correction unit, multiplier, key, unit for calculating module, first memory unit, control unit, threshold unit, second memory unit, clock generator, first and second two-channel switches, additional averaging unit, additional delay unit, additional complex conjugation unit and additional complex multiplication unit, performing intermediate processing of initial readings, connected to each other in a certain manner for detection and unambiguous measurement of Doppler (radial) velocity of a moving object.
EFFECT: higher measurement accuracy owing to fewer functional transformations and wider range of uniquely measured Doppler velocities while maintaining unique range measurement.
