SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in electric power engineering for deicing wires of overhead power transmission lines. Mobile plant for deicing power transmission line wires includes a tracked vehicle for maintenance of the power transmission line with a closed body, on which a pivoted rod is hinged able to turn relative to the hinge in vertical plane, to the other end of which via a tension spring a hoist cable is connected, which is installed on the rear roof section of the closed body, a device for deicing the power transmission line wires containing a plate with fixed on it: on one side - a pin perpendicularly welded to the plate middle, and on the other side - two rollers with the possibility of rotation and changing the distance between them, symmetrical against the pin axis and having circular recesses on its outer surface made in the radial section as per parabola y2= 2px, where p is the distance from focus F to the directress called the parabola parameter, on a folded up end of the pivoted rod there are two parallel to each other plates with a hole for a dielectric bushing, and on the plate with hole there is a double-acting hydraulic cylinder with its rod hinged with the device plate via the dielectric bushing, herewith at the end of the bar, in the area of an iced wire, a hose with a tip and a piezoelectric element for ignition of combustible gas is attached.

EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of deicing wires of overhead power transmission lines.
