FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: use in the field of electric power for the removal of ice from the power line. Device for removing ice contains an electromagnetic inductor made in the form of sleeves wound in one another and tightened by an elastic element, with windings in the cavity of which the switching system is placed, and on the opposite ends of it fixed the main flange and an additional flange, which serves to fix the device. Inductor has a spiral structure and is fixed between the wires by means of insulating rods, which include a shock absorber system, while the duration of one pulse of influence on the wire is regulated by the control system and is not more than 200 microseconds. Device is powered by power take-off from the wire.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of the removal of ice from the power transmission wires.
