FIELD: safety devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection of an aircraft in its counteraction to guided weapons basing on a system of homing at an optical radiation source. Core of the method of using a heat trap is reducing the level of unintentional interference to the onboard optical-electronic devices by shielding the heat trap radiation in the direction of the protected aircraft.
EFFECT: provided is reduced level of unintentional interference to the onboard optoelectronic systems created by false heat targets.
