SUBSTANCE: invention relates to turbo machines, namely to production of impellers of centrifugal compressors. Impeller of a centrifugal compressor includes working blades, a support ring and a cover disc, herewith the support ring consists of a metal separator of the support ring and a composite material, and the cover disc consists of a metal separator of the cover disc and a composite material. Separators of the support ring and the cover disc on the inlet diameter have an annular shield, which protects the composite material. Inner surfaces of the separators are made as per the shape and the size of the gas line. Blade leading edge is bordered with a metal cover strip protecting it against impacts of foreign objects. Metal cover strip is reliably jammed in holes of the separators of the support ring and the cover disc.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at providing high accuracy of the impeller fabrication and higher strength of leading edges of blades.
