FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering. Illumination device 100 emits first colour distribution mainly in first direction and second colour distribution mainly in second direction. Illumination device has light output window, source of light 118 light-distributing layer 108 and luminescent material. Light 104, 106 is emitted into the surrounding space through light output window. Light output window has first part 110 for light output of first colour distribution and second part 102 for light output of second colour distribution. Second part 102 differs from first part 110. Light source emits light in a predetermined colour distribution. Predetermined colour distribution contains light of first colour 106. Light-distributing layer 108 partially reflects or dissipates incident light in reverse direction and partially transmits incident light. Light-distributing layer 108 is located between source of light 118 and second part 102 of light output window. Light-distributing layer 108 is not completely transparent and has an edge near light output window for separation of first part 110 and second part 102. Luminescent material converts light of first colour 106 in light of second colour 104. Luminescent material is placed in light-distributing layer 108, or is located between light-distributing layer 108 and second part 102 of light outlet window, or is located on first part 110 of light output window, or on second part 102 of light output window.
EFFECT: possibility of generating complex light patterns.
