FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of processing copper-vanadium pulp for titanium tetrachloride cleaning process. Method involves distillation of titanium tetrachloride from copper-vanadium pulp to produce a still residue. Mixture of sodium hydroxide solution and sodium carbonate is fed for leaching still residue with counterflow feeding of compressed air. Vanadium-containing solution is separated from cake and treated first with hydrochloric acid, then with ammonium chloride and re-treated with ammonium chloride. Mixture is held, precipitate is separated in form of ammonium vanadate, dried and calcined to obtain vanadium pentoxide. Cake produced after leaching still residue is washed with water, treated with hydrochloric acid while feeding compressed air. Solid precipitate is separated in form of a rare metal concentrate. Copper-containing solution is treated with iron chips to produce precipitated copper.

EFFECT: technical result is increased through extraction from copper pulp into a commercial product of such components, as titanium tetrachloride, vanadium pentoxide and precipitated copper.
