FIELD: recycling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solid materials disposal and can be used in devices for destruction and/or grinding of optical CD and DVD compact discs with confidential information recorded on them. Device comprises a cylindrical working chamber, in the wall of which there is a chord hole, a sleeve with a detachable powder gas accumulator, a case and a striker with its actuation mechanism. Herewith the detachable accumulator of powder gases is arranged in the sleeve of the idle cartridge, and the case cap is installed with the possibility of combat interaction with the striker. Working chamber is equipped with a threaded closing cover.
EFFECT: device provides rapid elimination of compact discs.
