Aerosol-forming substrate for use in combination with induction heating device, wherein aerosol-forming substrate contains solid material capable of releasing volatile compounds, which can form an aerosol upon heating aerosol-forming substrate, and at least a first material of a current collector for heating aerosol-forming substrate, first material of current collector is located in proximity to solid material, aerosol-forming substrate contains at least a second material of current collector arranged in vicinity of solid material, second material of current collector has a second Curie temperature which is lower than first Curie temperature of first material of current collector, and second Curie temperature of second material of current collector corresponds to preset maximum heating temperature of first material of current collector.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility of controlling operating temperature of aerosol-forming substrate in an efficient manner.
