FIELD: rocket equipment; astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket engines for orbital manoeuvres and/or descent of spacecrafts (SC) back to the Earth. Proposed device is substantially independent and connected with SC before its start. It comprises a rocket (including hybrid or helium) engine and means of its position (thrust vector) control relative to the SC. Device is functionally connected with onboard and/or remote control means. Engine is started upon receiving the signals to retrieve SC (20′) from orbit (2) and descent to the Earth (1), or to move SC (20") from orbit (3) to specified orbit (4).
EFFECT: higher efficiency (including reliability) of providing the above described operations of SC.
