Process device (102) comprises sensor (120) of process parameter, made to generate output signal (126), indicating detected process parameter; circuit (122) of output current to current control circuit in two-wire process control loop (106) to certain value based on output signal; circuit (140) of current measurement circuit, connected to process control circuit and configured to generate measured value (142) of circuit current on basis of current; and circuit (124) of circuit current verification to approximation of circuit current value based on output signal and filter properties (150, 156) of lower frequencies and generating diagnostic signal (144) on basis of comparison of approximated value (164) of circuit current and measured current circuit.
EFFECT: technical effect consists in improvement of accuracy of diagnostics device.
