FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used in process control systems. Device for measuring concentration of loose material, moving through a pipeline comprises a measuring insert in form of a flat capacitor with first and second plates and a first power supply unit. Technical result is achieved due to that device comprises a microwave generator with frequency tuning, provided with a varactor and power supply circuit, second power supply unit and frequency meter with coaxial-waveguide junction. Flat capacitor is connected to first power supply unit and varactor of generator, output of second power supply unit is connected to power supply circuit of microwave generator, frequency meter with coaxial-waveguide junction is connected to output of microwave generator with frequency tuning.

EFFECT: simple procedure of measuring concentration and high measurement accuracy.
