FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road construction, in particular, to stabilizing additives used in macadam-mastic asphalt mix (MMAM) production. In production of additive mixing binder - bitumen emulsion aqueous solution with petrolatum and natural fibrous structure-forming agent, chrysotile fiber, granulated in following proportions, wt%: chrysotile fibre - 70-90, binder - 10-30. At that, binder contains, wt%: bitumen - 20-30, petrolatum - 20-30, water - 40-60. According to second version, binder used is mixture of bitumen with petrolatum at temperature of 120-140 °C at ratio of components, wt%: bitumen - 40-60, petrolatum - 40-60. According to third version binder used is mixture of paraffin with petrolatum at temperature of 120-140 °C at ratio of components, wt%: paraffin - 40-60, petrolatum - 40-60.
EFFECT: technical result when using additive consists in improvement of asphalt mix physical and mechanical properties.
