SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for well survey. This invention consists in the fact that the device for well survey can consist of a sonde housing and radiation generator, carried by the sonde housing. Radiation generator may consist of a housing, target, located in the generator housing, charged particle source carried by the generator housing to direct charged particles at the target, and at least one voltage source coupled to the charged particle source. At least one voltage source may include a voltage ladder comprising a plurality of voltage multiplication stages coupled in a uni-polar configuration and at least one loading coil coupled at least one intermediate position along the voltage ladder. Well-logging tool may further include at least one radiation detector carried by the sonde housing.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of increasing the voltage efficiency, reduced probability of electric breakdown and radiation destruction of the device.
