FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC), and specifically to ceramic material. Ceramic material for interconnectors of fuel elements is an indium oxide-based solid solution with dopant in following ratio of components, mol% indium oxide - 92-98 mol%, dopant - 2-8 mol%. Synthesis of ceramic material for interconnectors of fuel elements in claim 1 is performed by co-precipitation of hydroxides, wherein initial reagents selected are salts In(NO3)3·5H2O, ZrO(NO3)2·2H2O, HfOCl2·6H2O, from which are prepared diluted aqueous solutions, after which precipitation is carried out with ammonium hydroxide with intense stirring with introduction into ammonia solution of a surfactant, and formed gel-like precipitate is separated from mother solution by filtration and dried at 100 °C, followed by calcining obtained powder at 300 °C to crystallisation thereof in a cubic structure In2O3, obtained compacts from synthesised powder is pressed under pressure of 150 MPa and sintered in air at 1,400 °C for 2 hours with a heating rate of 350-400 °C/h.
EFFECT: obtained using disclosed method ceramic based on In2O3 has higher specific electric conductivity compared with "chromite-lanthanum" compositions and may be recommended for making interconnectors of solid oxide fuel cells, operating at medium, and high temperatures, which is technical result of invention.
